Do
you think Beverly deserves to be known as a great Blue Ribbon school
because of great teachers or a great student body?
Some
say the teachers at Beverly, for the most part, are superb,
caring individuals with an uncanny ability to impart
information to their students facilitating the learning
process, which is the precise reason the students do so
well. That is why Beverly is a great Blue Ribbon school.
Others say the teachers at Beverly are so overworked, they can barely
get through the curriculum. With so many students, the most
they are able to accomplish is to just give and grade the tests
and assignments. This may be the reason the amount of homework
at Beverly seems to
be inversely proportional to the teaching in the classroom.
Therefore, some say, Beverly Students must "Home School" themselves,
teaching themselves what they need to know at home, either alone or
with the help of parents and/or tutors. Teachers merely provide
the curriculum. Therefore, the Beverly Student body
would make any school they were at a great Blue Ribbon School,
and that is the reason Beverly is a great Blue Ribbon School.
